Iowa is an early pick to get back into a BCS Bowl
Preseason Bowl Projections
National Championship Game: Alabama vs Ohio State- Will Ohio State ever beat a SEC team in a bowl game. The Buckeyes get their 4th attempt at a SEC team in a bowl since 2000. Alabama loses a regular season game, but makes it into the NC game.
Sugar Bowl: Florida vs Oklahoma- A rematch of the National Championship game from 2 season ago. No Tebow and no Bradford in this one
Orange Bowl: TCU vs Virginia Tech- The Frogs will be the best of the Non BCS teams and the Hokies will make their 3rd Orange Bowl trip in 4 years.
Fiesta Bowl: Nebraska vs Pitt- Pitt earns the Big East's automatic in a down year for the conference. The Huskers win the Big XII and then head to the Big 10.
Rose Bowl: Iowa vs Southern Cal- A rematch of the 2003 Orange Bowl, a game the Trojans dominated. This game will be much closer
Kraft Fights Hunger Bowl: Oregon State vs Nevada- Yep, there really is a game named the "Kraft Fights Hunger Bowl"
PapaJohns.com Bowl: Mississippi State vs Cincinnati- Without Kelly the Cats will drop in 2010, while Mullen continues to improve the Dogs
GMAC Bowl: Northern Illinois vs Middle Tennessee- MTSU appears in its 3rd bowl game in school history
Cotton Bowl: Arkansas vs Texas- Jerry Jones, Texas, Arkansas, Bevo, and Hog Calls.......Could Dallas ask for a better game?
Dallas Football Classic: Texas Tech vs SMU- Jerry Jones, 2 old SWC teams, Tubby, and Craig James.........Dallas could probably ask for a bit more in this one
Gator Bowl: South Carolina vs Michigan State- South Carolina played in the first Gator Bowl, Mark Dantonio played at South Carolina
Capital One Bowl: Wisonsin vs Auburn- Malzahn's high powered offensive attack vs the Badgers tough, physical ground game
Outback Bowl: LSU vs Penn State- A rematch of last year's Capital One Bowl
Chick fil A Bowl: North Carolina vs Georgia- A good defenisive game to end 2010 in Atlanta
Insight Bowl: Northwestern vs Missouri- Future Conference Rivals?
Liberty Bowl: Houston vs Ole Miss- The SEC has never lost to Conference USA in this bowl game
Meineke Car Care Bowl: Clemson vs South Florida- Skip Holtz takes on a team he coached against 6 times while OC at South Carolina
Holiday Bowl: Michigan vs Stanford- The Wolverines return to a bowl to play against a former Michigan QB
Music City Bowl: Tennessee vs Boston College- This would be the closest thing to a home game for the Vols
Pinstripe Bowl: Rutgers vs Kansas State- A great way for Rutgers to gain some New York fans in the first bowl game at the New Yankee Stadium
Armed Forces Bowl: Southern Miss vs Wyoming- Expect plenty of offense as two former Big XII OCs meet
Sun Bowl: Georgia Tech vs UCLA- First ever meeting between these two programs
Champ Sports Bowl: Florida State vs Notre Dame- Two old powers meet up in what would be a highly rated game
Alamo Bowl: Oregon vs Texas A&M- The Aggies will be improved in 2010, while the Ducks will take a hit after some off the field issues in the preseason
Texas Bowl: Minnesota vs Oklahoma State- Two programs that have put lots of money in their stadiums the last couple seasons
Eagle Bank Bowl: Wake Forest vs East Carolina- The two teams from the Tarheel State meet. Wake leads the series 6-2
Independence Bowl: Air Force vs NC State- Celebrate Independence with The Air Force Academy. Game takes an attendance hit without the SEC and Big XII
Little Caesars Bowl: Ohio vs Arkansas State- Roberts stays off the hotseat with the Red Wolves 2nd bowl appearance
Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii vs Tulsa- Hawaii is a lock if they are bowl elgible.
Poinsettia Bowl: Utah vs Navy- Rematch of the 2007 Poinsettia Bowl game
Las Vegas Bowl: BYU vs Washington- BYU is 33-57-1 alltime vs the PAC 10
St. Petersburg Bowl: UCF vs UConn- Huskies take a needed break from the cold to come down to St. Pete. UCF takes a short trip from Orlando
New Orleans Bowl: Marshall vs Troy- A rematch of the 1994 1-AA semifinals
Humanitarian Bowl: Boise State vs Temple- Boise won't go undefeated and will end up staying at home during bowl season. Of course home is a bowl game
New Mexico Bowl: San Diego State vs Fresno State- SD State leads the alltime series 26-20-4
